R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, River Road (County Highway 4) and Kelsey Road (County Highway 30) are designated routes on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if River Road from Kelsey Road to 700 Feet south of Roberts Road, and also Kelsey Road from US Rt. 14 to 500 feet south of IL Rt. 22
could be resurfaced; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that there is hereby appropriated $1,915,000 of Matching Tax funds for the resurfacing of River Road from Kelsey Road to 700 Feet south of Roberts Road, and also Kelsey Road from US Rt. 14 to 500 feet south of IL Rt. 22 and designated as Section 08-00134-04-RS.
