• The Lake County Tuberculosis Clinic has been awarded a grant increase in the amount of $9,330.
• These funds have not been previously appropriated because they were awarded after adoption of the FY 2009 budget.
• These funds will be used for direct observational therapy for TB patients.
Body
WHEREAS, the Lake County Tuberculosis Clinic has been awarded a grant increase; and
WHEREAS, these dollars will provide a legitimate increase in services to Lake County with no impact on local taxes; and
WHEREAS, these grant and additional funds totaling $9,330 have not been previously appropriated, having been awarded after adoption of the Fiscal Year 2009 budget; and
WHEREAS, the proposed appropriation will be fully offset by the above referenced items thereby not requiring the expenditure of local tax revenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, by this County Board that an emergency appropriation in the amount of $9,330 is hereby authorized in the Tuberculosis Department budget as identified on the listing of expense and revenue budget modifications attached hereto and made part hereof; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the revenue budgets as identified on the attached listing be modified as provided by increased funding from the following:
• IL. Department of Public Health, Direct Observational Therapy Grant Increase for $9,330.
