Staff Summary
• The Chief County Assessment Office, with the recommendation from Human Resources and the County Administrator’s Office, is seeking to reclassify three positions. The first reclassification would change the Principal Appraiser to a Property Tax Appeal Board (PTAB) Case Coordinator. The second reclassification would change the salary grade of the Mass Appraisal Specialist from a K6 to a K8. The third reclassification would change the salary grade of the Chief Appraiser from a M8 to a M9.
• Due to internal movements associated with these reclassifications, these changes do not increase headcount and would provide an annual savings of approximately $7,000.
