RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the County is the owner of record of certain real property, PIN 11-31-327-001 and 15-06-101-021, located at 105 East Illinois Route 83 in Mundelein, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, the 19th Judicial Circuit Court of Illinois has its Mundelein Branch Court located on the Subject Property; and
WHEREAS, the Illinois Department of Transportation ("IDOT") is undertaking a project that will improve Illinois Route 60/83 from Illinois Route 176 to Illinois Route 60 ("Project"); and
WHEREAS, IDOT needs to acquire 0.161 acres of right-of-way and 0.405 acres of temporary easement from the County to construct the Project; and
WHEREAS, the County is desirous of conveying the needed property to IDOT to facilitate the Project; and
WHEREAS, IDOT has prepared the necessary conveyance documents, draft copies of which are attached, and will compensate the County in the amount of $71,400, based on an independent property appraisal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the conveyance of the above referenced County-owned property to IDOT is hereby approved and that the Lake County Board Chair and Lake County Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute whatever documents are necessar...
