Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center received an additional $18,989 from the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery, for the Crisis Care System Program for the period of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. The Fiscal Year 2027 application was competitive and resulted in an increase in funding. The additional funding will be used to offset costs associated with the program, which provides 24/7 Mobile Crisis Response services for individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.
