* The Lake County State's Attorney's Office has been awarded $626,682.48 in grant funds from DCFS.

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the DCFS has announced a 12-month continuation of the grant program to provide direct services to child victims of crimes during the period of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025; and

WHEREAS, the grant funds of $626,682.48 for this program will provide salary and benefits for the current three Victim Advocates, Program Director, Director of Outreach and Engagement, Administrative Assistant, a contractual Development and Communications Designer, and contractual Forensic Interviewers assigned to the grant program; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Program Agreement with the Children's Advocacy Centers of Illinois with State Department of Children and Family Services funds for the State's Attorney's Children's Advocacy Center program to provide...
