Staff Summary
· The Circuit Court Clerk has a bid-exempt requirement for a Service Level Agreement (SLA) for the Lake County Justice Network (LCJN).
· The SLA will provide support for multiple Lake County Justice systems, plus local agencies, such as area police departments that communicate critical information.
· The support includes maintenance of URL Integration developed schemas, criminal and civil applications, databases as well as integration software such as the Oracle Service Bus (OSB) that are required to support the Lake County Justice Network (LCJN) and Civil e-filing on a 24 hour/day, 7 day/week basis.
· The framework of the LCJN utilizes Justice Reference Architecture (JRA) to accomplish communication between systems or software products that operate in different computer languages.
· The Purchasing Agent convened an ad hoc review group that approved bid exemption on the basis of Sole source.
· This contract will cost the County an amount not to exceed $250,000 charged to the Document Storage Fund account # 258-3110010-71220-000-000-000-00000.
