* Chapter 111 - Alcohol Regulations follows the Illinois Liquor Control Act of 1934 (235 ILCS 5/1-1 et seq., entitled An Act Relating to Alcoholic Liquors), enacted January 31, 1934, and in effect July 1, 1934.
* Revisions are proposed to multiple sections of Chapter 111 - Alcohol Regulations for clarity, precision and consistency based on experience enforcing the provisions. These revisions include:
o Removal of notary requirement on application and request for documentation of plans to operate amusement devices (? 111.037 APPLICATION FOR LICENSE).
o Addition of a section to identify operation of amusement devices as part of the liquor license application (? 111.037 APPLICATION FOR LICENSE {J}).
o Clarification for applicability of temporary use permit for Class D licenses (? 111.042 CLASSIFICATION OF FEES AND NUMBER OF LICENSES (D)).
o Removal of requirement for documentation of video gaming revenue for renewals (? 111.046 RENEWALS (C)).
o Removal of return of application fee if denial of license (? 111.047 PAYMENT AND DISPOSITION OF FEES (D)).
o Clarification that relinquishment upon sale includes lease to new license holder (? 111.050 RELINQUISHMENT UPON SALE)
