WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 4-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for Lawn Care and Landscape Service for various locations in Lake County; and
WHEREAS, Invitations for bid were extended to ten (10) vendors; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from seven (7) contractors; and.
WHEREAS, Landscape Concepts Management, Inc., Grayslake, IL is the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the amount estimated amount of $125,095; four (4) other bids received ranged from $164,570 to $254,703, one (1) non-responsive bid was received and one (1) partial bid was received offering no economic advantage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby directed to enter into a contract with Landscape Concepts Management Inc., Grayslake, IL in the estimated amount of $125,095 for a seven (7) month period with renewals for Lake County Lawn Care and Landscape Services, for Public Work sites and the Liberty...
