RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, there is a need to enter into a contract for lawn care and landscape services for the Lake County Division of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, proposals were called for by publication for lawn care and landscape services for various Lake County departments; and
WHEREAS, electronic bids were received from six vendors and publicly opened on July 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the bid; the staff evaluated all bids submitted and determined that the bid submitted by Accent Landscape Design, Inc., Ingleside, Illinois, in the amount of $14,315 is the lowest responsible and responsive bidder for Lake County Division of Transportation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a contract with Accent Landscape Design, Inc., Ingleside, Illinois, for lawn care and landscape services for the Lake County Division of Transportation in the estimated annual amount of $14,315.
