Committee action approving James Hawkins as the Transition Manager.
Staff Summary
• At the May 15th PCC meeting, the Planner/Project Manager Hiring Working Group led by Chief Husak recommended that James Hawkins, the current PCC Executive Agent Representative (EA Rep.), be appointed as the LakeComm Transition Manager in addition to his current role as the EA Rep.
• The PCC accepted the recommendation and provided direction to coordinate details with the Lake County Administrator.
• County Administrator Patrice Sutton supports the appointment and will provide Mr. Hawkins’ time to the transition effort at no cost to the PCC.
• The Transition Manager has the authority to establish, coordinate, direct, and set priorities for required working groups and teams.
• The appointment will remain in effect until rescinded by the PCC or the PCC is disestablished.
• Upon establishment of LakeComm and with the approval of the Lake County Administrator, LakeComm may request an extension of the appointment until an Executive Director is in place.
