R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Quentin Road (County Highway 5) is a designated route on the county highway system; and

WHEREAS, it would be beneficial for the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Quentin Road from North of US Rt. 12 to South of IL Rt. 22 could be improved by widening; and

WHEREAS, Phase I (Preliminary Engineering) studies are required for the proposed Quentin Road widening; and

WHEREAS, it is advisable that a consultant engineering firm be employed to provide said Phase I engineering services (Preliminary Engineering); and

WHEREAS, Lake County by and through its Division of Transportation has selected a professional engineering services firm in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act (50 ILCS 510/1 et. seq.); and

WHEREAS, Civiltech Engineering Inc., Chicago, Illinois are consulting engineers skilled in the provision of said Phase I engineering services (Preliminary Engineering).
