Staff Summary
• There is a need for roof replacement at the Babcox Justice Center, County Administration Building “B”, Health Department Zion Clinic, Public Defenders Office, and the Women’s Residential Services Building
• An invitation to Bid was extended to nine (9) vendors and sealed bids were received from five (5) vendors and opened on July 28, 2008.
• Waukegan Roofing Company, Inc. was the low, responsive, responsible bidder in the amount of $1,292,000.
• Other bids were received from: National Roofing Corp., Forest Park, IL in the amount of $1,388,200, G.E. Riddiford Company, Arlington Heights, IL in the amount of $1,437,297, L. Marshall, Inc., Glenview, IL in the amount of $1,540,000, and A-1 Roofing, Elk Grove Village, IL in the amount of $1,696,508.
• This contract will be charged to various accounts.
