Staff Summary

•                     Change Order No.1 for additional work on the FY 2009 Administration Building Window Replacement Project is in the net amount of $7,990.

•                     This change order includes additional work to repair damaged drywall from around the existing window frames due to seasonal condensation.

•                     The damaged drywall sills and edges were discovered after the contract was underway and the old window frames had been removed.

•                     The addition of Change Order No.1 increases the contract amount from $73,800 to $81,790 resulting in an overall project increase of 10.83%.

•                     Change orders that exceed 10% of the total contract amount must be approved by the Public Works & Transportation and the Finance & Administration Committees.
