Staff Summary

                     Change Order No.1 for additional work on the FY 2009 Administration Building Window Replacement Project is in the net amount of $7,990.

                     This change order includes additional work to repair damaged drywall from around the existing window frames due to seasonal condensation.

                     The damaged drywall sills and edges were discovered after the contract was underway and the old window frames had been removed.

                     The addition of Change Order No.1 increases the contract amount from $73,800 to $81,790 resulting in an overall project increase of 10.83%.

                     Change orders that exceed 10% of the total contract amount must be approved by the Public Works & Transportation and the Finance & Administration Committees.
