Staff Summary

•                     The Lake County Affordable Housing Program Criteria contains the following requirement “post-award changes in project location are subject to Health and Community Services Committee approval.”

•                     Habitat for Humanity received a 2008 grant award of $69,960 to acquire sites on the north side of 11^th Court in Waukegan (Carter Crossing).

•                     Ms. Julie Donovan, Executive Director, will present a request to instead purchase a site on the same block, but which is on the south side of 11^th Street in Waukegan (that is still within the same project development).

•                     Staff recommends Committee approval.
