RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, as part of the budget preparation for Fiscal Year (FY) 2026, and as part of the year end activities for FY 2025, certain projects and expected revenues were identified in the FY 2025 budget that, for a variety of reasons, were not completed or, in the case of revenue, were not received in FY 2025; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the FY 2026 budget to re-authorize the budgets for these previously approved projects, including any additional revenue and interest that have been received for the previous fiscal year, and project related reimbursement revenue from outside agencies and appropriate the carryover revenue and related expenses.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that emergency appropriations for FY 2026 for the Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT) capital funds are hereby authorized as detailed in the attached listing, which is hereby made a part of this resolution.
