RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Wadsworth Road, County Highway 17, and Lewis Avenue, County Highway 27, are designated routes on the County highway system; and

WHEREAS, the State of Illinois and Lake County believe it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the traveling public if Wadsworth Road at Lewis Avenue could be improved by adding turn lanes, modifying the traffic signal, and adding non-motorized improvements, including a connection to the Robert McClory Bike Path, and designated as Section 13-00055-06-WR; and

WHEREAS, construction engineering is required to utilize federal highway funds for this improvement; and

WHEREAS, the State of Illinois and Lake County are desirous of entering into an agreement to utilize federal highway funds for construction and construction engineering for improvements of Wadsworth Road at Lewis Avenue, setting forth the terms ...
