RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Lake County Video Gaming Revenue (VGR) Policy states that the County will allocate $125,000 of VGR to support 211 information and referral services; and
WHEREAS, 211 has provided information and referral services to Lake County Residents since 2019; and
WHEREAS, United Way Lake County is the sole provider of 211 information and referral services; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 33.066 Bid Exemption of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, the Purchasing Agent has made a determination based on previous bid exemptions (2024) that there is only one source for the required goods, service, or construction item.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Lake County Community Development Administrator is approved to enter into an agreement with United Way Lake County for $125,000.
