RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the County of Lake (County) owns, operates, and maintains the Mill Creek Water Reclamation Facility, and the Rollins Road and Petite Lake Road Pump Stations; and

WHEREAS, the Mill Creek Water Reclamation Facility, Rollins Road, and Petite Lake Road Pump Station buildings need repairs and reroofing; and

WHEREAS, in accordance with the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for the Fiscal Year 2022 Roof Replacement Projects for Lake County Public Works; and

WHEREAS, Seal Tight Exteriors, Inc., Steger, IL, is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the amount of $528,822; two (2) other bids were received ranged from $862,000 to $900,000.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract with Seal Tight Exteriors, Inc., Steger, IL, in the amount of $528,822 for the Mill Creek Water Reclamation Facility, Rollins Road Pump Station, and Petite Lake Road Pump Sta...
