R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Fairfield Road, County Highway 49, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Fairfield Road could be improved by reconstruction; including recycling the existing pavement to create the base, overlaying with a hot mix asphalt and surface course, replacing culverts, installing storm sewer, concrete curb and gutter, guardrail, tree removal and other related work; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed, and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held, an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $1,395,000 of Matching Tax funds for the reconstruction of Fairfield Road, from north of Grand Avenue to south of Petite Lake Road, and designated as Section 00-00180-01-RS.
