Staff Summary

•                     An annual audit of the Public Works Department is conducted as a separate audit from County Corporate because Public Works operates as an Enterprise Fund with funding generated by the water and sewer rate payers.

•                     Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP was hired by the County to conduct the Public Works Enterprise audit and has prepared a financial statements report in addition to a management letter for FY 2009.

•                     Audit highlights and a review of the FY 2009 financial statements will be provided by Mr. John Andres, CPA, Partner of Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP.
