Project Change Requests - NorthPointe Resources & Waukegan Township 2015.
Staff Summary
• Environmental conditions in the areas surrounding both the NorthPointe Resources and Waukegan Township CDBG 2015 activities, along with protracted real estate negotiations, have caused both entities to request the CDBG funds be moved to their other high priority capital improvement projects.
• The proposed changes do not alter the grant amounts to NorthPointe Resources ($14,193) and to Waukegan Township ($100,000).
• The attached memo outlines the requests, of which staff recommends approval. If approved, the changes would require a substantial amendment to the 2015 Action Plan and a 30-day comment period.
