RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center has received a grant increase for the Illinois Department of Human Services Psychiatric Medications Grant; and
WHEREAS, this additional funding is to support the purchase of psychiatric medications for eligible mental health clients to ensure access to necessary treatment and continuity of care when other funding sources are unavailable; and
WHEREAS, the additional funding amount totaling $12,880 for the period of July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, which has not been previously appropriated, having been approved after adoption of the Fiscal Year 2026 budget; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that an emergency appropriation in the amount of $12,880 is hereby authorized in the Health Department Fiscal Year 2026 budget as identified on the listing of expense and revenue budget modifications attached hereto and made part hereof; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the revenue budgets as identified on the attached listing be modified as provided by increased funding from the following:
