WHEREAS, Lake County currently holds 199 various OnBase Licenses for the Lake County enterprise content management software; and
WHEREAS, the enterprise content management software is a means of organizing and electronically storing documents; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 5-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for renewal of current Hyland licenses; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, an Invitation to Bid was extended to 45 vendors; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from one vendor and opened in the County Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on January 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the Invitation to Bid; the staff evaluated the bid submittal and determined that the bid submitted by Requordit, Inc., Antioch, Illinois, is the most favorable bid for Lake County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a contract with Requordit, Inc., Antioch, Illinois for the renewal of current Hyland licenses in the amount of $66,186, charging to account #101-1300020-71230-000-000-000-13338.
