Follow-up discussion of Stormwater Comprehensive Plan Update.
Staff Summary
• At the August 2026 Commission meeting, SMC’s consultant team presented a summary of its findings and recommendations for the update of the 2002 Lake County Comprehensive Stormwater Management Plan.
• The consultants’ findings and recommendations are detailed in a technical memorandum (attached) that was discussed during the August presentation. The technical memorandum has been updated based on the discussion at the last meeting but is still considered “draft.”
• A staff memo is also attached summarizing the primary topics (in staff’s view) that may require additional discussion and/or direction from the Stormwater Management Commission.
