* LCDOT received and evaluated Statements of Interest and Qualifications from five professional engineering firms.
* This project is included in the Transportation Improvement Program, and designated as Section 23-00701-01-EG.

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the Lake County Division of Transportation is seeking traffic engineering consulting services; and

WHEREAS, it is recommended that a traffic consultant services firm be employed to provide these traffic consultant services; and

WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, has selected a traffic consultant services firm in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, 50 ILCS 510/1 et. seq.; and

WHEREAS, Iteris, Geneva, Illinois, are traffic consultants skilled in the provision of these traffic consultant services; and

WHEREAS, this agreement will allow individual task orders to be issued up to a maximum cumulative amount of $150,000 over a two-year contract term; and

WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is required.
