Resolution recognizing the contributions of Terese Douglass upon the completion of her service as a Member of the Lake County Board.

WHEREAS, Terese Douglass was appointed as a Member of the Lake County Board, representing District 11, on February 27, 2007; and
WHEREAS, Terese Douglass has brought her municipal experience and her knowledge of and interest in local government to bear on a variety of Committees and activities while serving on the County Board; and
WHEREAS, during her service on the Lake County Board, Terese Douglass served as a member of the Revenue Records and Legislation Committee and the Public Works and Transportation Committee; and
WHEREAS, Terese Douglass also served as a member of the Route 120 Corridor Planning Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that we do hereby recognize and commend Terese Douglass for her record of public service as a Member of the Lake County Board and for her valuable insight and expertise in legislative issues which contributed greatly to the Committees on which she served; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that we are indeed fortunate and honored to have known and worked with such an outstanding citizen and public servant; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Lake County Board does hereby extend its best wishes to Terese Douglass as she pursues new challenges and opportunities, and offers, on behalf of all Lake County residents, its heartfelt thanks for a job consistently well done.
