Discussion on Fall Season Abatement Plan for Junk & Debris Removal.
Staff Summary
· In September the County Board approved the amendments to the Public Nuisance Ordinance allowing for the abatement of junk & debris.
· In a follow-up on previously adjudicated violation sites, four were found to be in violation of Public Nuisance Ordinance.
· Staff will review the planned abatement process for these sites and will also introduce additional abatement remedies for future action.
· Future reporting on abatement cases will be done on a seasonal basis.
