Staff Summary

•                     Each year the County repaints sanitary lift stations and equipment buildings that are in need of refurbishment.

•                     This project will include painting of eight sanitary sewage lift stations in the Northwest and Southeast service areas, and the Filter Building and De-chlorination Building at the Des Plaines River Water Reclamation Facility.

•                     The project is estimated to cost $108,000 with work to be accomplished between October, 2008 and May, 2009.

•                     Committee authorization is requested to solicit bids for the FY 2008 Facilities Painting Project.
