Staff Summary
· Customers on the County's sewer and water systems are billed either on a per usage basis or a flat rate basis.
· A customer that has a water meter is charged a per use basis with usage recorded by the meter.
· Approximately 140 water customers have no meters and are charged on a flat rate basis, including areas in Countryside Lake, Forest Lake, Arden Shores and Oak Terrace.
· A plan to convert all water customers to metered usage will be reviewed with Committee for direction and future implementation.
