RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, there is a need to enter into a contract for Prime Food and Dairy for the Hulse Detention Center; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, proposals were called for by publication for Prime Food and Dairy for the Hulse Detention Center; and
WHEREAS, electronic bids were received from one vendor and publicly opened on March 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the bid; the staff evaluated all bids submitted and determined that the bid submitted by Gordon Food Service of Wyoming, Michigan, in the amount of $48,561.42 is the lowest responsible and responsive bidder for the Hulse Detention Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a contract with Gordon Food Service of Wyoming, Michigan, for Prime Food and Dairy for the Hulse Detention Center in the estimated annual amount of $48,561.42.
