The Lake County Health Department received an additional $12,880 in grant funding for the period of July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, which has not been previously appropriated because the grant resources were approved after the County’s adoption of the Fiscal Year 2026 budget. This funding is to support the purchase of psychiatric medications for eligible mental health clients to ensure access to necessary treatment and continuity of care when other funding sources are unavailable. The grant funds will be administered in accordance with the terms and conditions of the award.
