Resolution authorizing a successor agreement to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, between the Operating Engineers Local 150 and Lake County Facilities Operations Division.
Staff Summary
· The previous agreement between Operating Engineers Local 150 and Lake County expired November 30, 2011.
· Employees covered by this agreement will receive wage increases in the following manner: 2.5% across the board effective 12/01/2011 (same as received by non-union employees), the same as non-union employees effective 12/01/2012 and effective in the 2014 fiscal year following a reopening of the contract for general wage negotiations.
· The attachment highlights all of the modifications of the new agreement, including additional economic items.
· Employees covered by this agreement will be subject to random drug testing.
· As a result of the provisions negotiated in this agreement, costs will increase by $33,125 in fiscal year 2012.
· The contract will expire November 30, 2014.
