R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Grass Lake Road (County Highway 18) and also State Park Road (County Highway 10) are designated routes on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Grass Lake Road from State Park Road to east of the Grass Lake Road bridge and State Park Road from Lubliner Terrace to US Rt. 12 could be resurfaced; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that there is hereby appropriated $3,590,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the resurfacing of Grass Lake Road from State Park Road to east of the Grass Lake Road bridge and also for the resurfacing of State Park Road from Lubliner Terrace to US Rt. 12 and designated as Section 08-00999-03-RS.
