* LCDOT received and evaluated Statements of Interest and Qualifications from 18 professional firms, of which three were short-listed and presented to a consultant selection committee.
* This project is included in the Transportation Improvement Program and designated as Section 24-00189-06-CH.

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Center Street, County Highway 77, is a designated route on the county highway system; and

WHEREAS, Lake County believes it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the traveling public if the intersection of Center Street and Atkinson Road could be improved, inclusive of a new multi-use path; and

WHEREAS, Phase I professional engineering services are required for these improvements; and

WHEREAS, it is recommended that a consultant engineering firm be employed to provide these Phase I professional engineering services; and
