* The Adult Redeploy Illinois Oversight Board (Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority) recently announced that the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit was awarded $318,020.01 in Adult Redeploy Illinois funding for the grant period of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024.
* The Court has received Adult Redeploy Illinois funding since 2013.
* The program will provide residential treatment for high risk and high need justice involved individuals who are chemically dependent, the funds will provide recovery coaching services, access to recovery home services, and peer support specialists all of which provide a continuum of care.
* Transportation will be provided for those clients with a barrier to care.
* This resolution authorizes an emergency appropriation of $318,020.01 and the execution of a program agreement to accept the grant funding. The grant does not require a match.
* If grant funding for the services end and new funding is not secured, the services will be eliminated.

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the Adult Redeploy Illinois Oversight Board recently announced that the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Court was awarded $318,020.01 in Adult Redeploy Illinois funding for the grant period of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024; and

WHEREAS, the program will provide residential treatment for high risk and high need justice involved individuals who are chemically dependent, the funds will provide recovery coaching services, access to recovery home services, and peer support specialists all of which provide a continuum of care; and
