WHEREAS, there is a vacancy on the Lake County Emergency Telephone System Board (ETSB); and

WHEREAS, the term of the vacancy expired on November 30, 2021; and

WHEREAS, your Chair requests that this County Board confirm the appointment of Charles D. Smith, representing the Lake County Fire Chiefs Association, for a term beginning immediately and ending on November 30, 2023.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the appointment of Charles D. Smith, representing the Lake County Fire Chiefs Association, as a member of the Lake County Emergency Telephone System Board for a term beginning immediately and ending November 30, 2022 be, and the same is hereby confirmed.
