Staff Summary

•                     Last October, the Community Development Commission approved revisions to the Citizen Participation Plan.

•                     These revisions reflected updates to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA); incorporated changes to the by-laws; formalized the process by which complaints are heard; and clarified the substantial amendment process.

•                     Adoption of the approved revisions were delayed until after the 2011 Annual Action Plan process, but shall be in effect upon the completion of the Public Hearing, which concludes the required 15-day comment period.

•                     Comments are sought regarding the Citizen Participation Plan.
