RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Sylvia Johnson-Jones served as a member of the Lake County Board of Health from September 12, 2017 through August 11, 2026, contributing nearly nine years of dedicated service to the residents of Lake County; and
WHEREAS, Sylvia Johnson-Jones was selected to serve as Vice President of the Board of Health in 2024 and continued in that leadership role through 2026; and
WHEREAS, in her role as Vice President, Sylvia Johnson-Jones supported the leadership and work of the Board with professionalism, sound judgment, and a collaborative spirit; and
WHEREAS, throughout her tenure, Sylvia Johnson-Jones brought thoughtful engagement and a steadfast commitment to the Board’s responsibility to promote and protect the health of the Lake County community; and
WHEREAS, Sylvia’s willingness to serve, contribute her perspective, and assume a leadership role strengthened the work of the Board of Health and reflected her sincere dedication to public service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and members of the Lake County Board of Health, that we hereby honor Sylvia Johnson-Jones and express our sincere appreciation for her dedicated service, valued leadership, and contributions to the Lake County Board of Health and the residents of Lake County; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Lake County Board of Health extends its gratitude and best wishes to Sylvia Johnson-Jones upon the conclusion of her service.
