Resolution approving the Years of Service Recognition Program.
Staff Summary
· There will be an early morning breakfast, featuring the honorees, their department heads and County Board members to be held at the Greenbelt Cultural Center in North Chicago at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, March 23, 2012.
· Employees recognized for 20 or more years of service will be given one day off work with pay. It will be a day of their choice.
Body
WHEREAS, in our effort to recognize employees for their hard work and dedication to Lake County government, we are continuing the County's Years of Service Program. The program has been well received by department heads and employees alike. To honor those employees, who celebrated 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of service with Lake County in 2011, we propose the following program components.
WHEREAS, we will also honor those employees celebrating 5, 10 and 15 years of service with Lake County government. These employees will receive a small gift recognizing their achievement. These gifts will be presented to employees by their department heads.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lake County Board approves the Years of Service Recognition Program.
