· The County has been allocated CMAQ funds to improve these intersections as roundabouts and IDOT administers all federal funds.
· Phase II design engineering is underway, and there needs for a second Amendment to the IDOT Phase II design engineering services agreement to provide for revisions to plan sheets and conveyance documents.
· This Amendment 2 provides for the county to receive 80% reimbursement for these supplemental costs of Phase II design engineering.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois and Lake County by prior resolution dated March 11, 2008 entered into an agreement for the use of federal highway funds for the design of improvements to the intersections of Hunt Club Road (County Highway 29), at Millburn Road (County Highway 14) and at Wadsworth Road (County Highway 17) and designated as Section 02-00076-13-CH.
WHEREAS, this County Board of Lake County Illinois by prior resolution at its meeting of March 11, 2008 appropriated $320,000 of Matching Tax funds for Phase II engineering services (Design Engineering) associated with said improvements; and
WHEREAS, this County Board of Lake County Illinois by prior resolution at its meeting of October 13, 2009 approved Amendment 1 expanding the scope of the original design engineering services and appropriating an additional $38,000 for said improvement; and
