ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, Special Service Area Number Fourteen was established by the Lake County Board on May 13, 2008; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Establishing Ordinance, the County is authorized to impose a levy sufficient to recover the cost of the construction of the sanitary sewer system related to Special Service Area Number Fourteen for twenty (20) years; and
WHEREAS, said annual levy shall be placed upon all taxable property within said Special Service Area Number Fourteen; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Establishing Ordinance, the amount to be levied annually shall be $13,925.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that there be and there is levied upon all of the taxable property in said Special Service Area Number Fourteen, in addition to all other taxes, a direct tax of Thirteen Thousand, Nine Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($13,925) with said tax to be collected in two (2) installments during calendar year 2012; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Department of Finance & Administrative Services shall cause the foregoing taxes to be allocated in the manner provided by the Establishing Ordinance and that the Department of Finance & Administrative Services is hereby directed to prepare and deliver to the County Clerk a detailed statement of the foregoing taxes as allocated and applied to all taxable properties throughout Special Service Area Number Fourteen.
