Joint resolution approving the second amendment to the Program Year (PY) 2024 United States Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) Annual Action Plan (AAP).

 

Staff Summary

                     HUD requires the submission of an AAP and associated amendments to govern expenditure of federal housing and community development funding for each program.

                     The second amendment to the PY 2024 AAP makes the following changes:

o                     Allocation of $213,991 of HOME funds to the City of Waukegan for Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation.

RESOLUTION

 

WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires the submission of an Annual Action Plan (AAP) to govern the expenditure of federal entitlement funding; and

 

WHEREAS, an amendment to the AAP is required to substantially change the purpose, location, scope or beneficiaries of a project; and

 

WHEREAS, this second amendment to the Program Year (PY) 2024 Annual Action Plan allocates $213,991 of HOME funds to the City of Waukegan for Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that second amendment to the PY 2024 AAP is hereby approved; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the chair of the Lake County Board or their designee is hereby authorized to execute the necessary documents to complete the submission of the amended PY 2024 AAP.
