RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Lucille DeVaux served as a member of the Lake County Board of Health from July 13, 1993 through August 11, 2026, dedicating more than three decades to advancing the health and well-being of the residents of Lake County; and
WHEREAS, Lucille DeVaux served as Secretary of the Board of Health from 2001 through 2026, faithfully carrying out the responsibilities of that office with diligence, professionalism, and care; and
WHEREAS, through her many years of service, Lucille DeVaux provided valuable continuity, institutional knowledge, and a thoughtful perspective that supported the Board of Health in fulfilling its responsibilities; and
WHEREAS, Lucille DeVaux longstanding commitment and dependable leadership reflect an enduring dedication to public service and to the mission of the Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Health wishes to recognize Lucille DeVaux for the time, experience, and care she generously devoted to the Board, the Health Department, and the people of Lake County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and members of the Lake County Board of Health, that we hereby recognize and express our sincere gratitude to Lucille DeVaux for her distinguished service and lasting contributions to the Lake County Board of Health and the residents of Lake County; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Lake County Board of Health extends its warmest appreciation and best wishes to Lucille DeVaux upon the conclusion of her service.
