Staff Summary
• The County provides retail water service to portions of the Village of Mettawa incorporated areas.
• The Village has made a formal request to expand the service area to include all remaining Village parcels not currently receiving water service.
• The County has a water service area established as part of a water service agreement with the CLCJAWA and expansion of that service area requires an amendment to the CLCJAWA agreement.
• Committee direction to proceed with implementing service area expansion process is requested.
