· North Avenue (IL Rt. 83 to Deep Lake Road), Reconstruction and Widening: Village of Antioch Agreement.
· North Avenue will be widened and reconstructed from IL Rt. 83 to Deep Lake Road.
· In conjunction with this improvement, a Village watermain needs to be relocated.
· The Village of Antioch desires that sidewalks along both the north and south side of North Avenue be installed.
· The sidewalks will be owned and maintained by the Village of Antioch.
· This resolution authorizes an agreement between the Village of Antioch and Lake County for said watermain relocation and sidewalk installation.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, North Avenue (County Highway 3) is a designated route on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, North Avenue from IL Rt. 83 to Deep Lake Road will be improved by reconstruction and widening to a 3-lane cross section; and
WHEREAS, as part of said improvement the watermain along North Avenue owned by the Village of Antioch will need to be relocated; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Antioch is desirous Lake County to including in said improvement sidewalks along the north and south side of North Avenue, said sidewalks to be owned and maintained by the Village of Antioch; and
WHEREAS, Lake County and the Village of Antioch are desirous of entering into an agreement setting forth the terms and obligations to each entity for the above proposed improvement, a draft copy of which is attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, that the Chair of the County Board, the County Clerk, and the County Engineer of Lake County, Illinois, be authorized, and they are hereby directed to execute an agreement pertaining to the financing of the above-named improvement....
