RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the County of Lake (County) approved funding as part of the Fiscal Year 2024 Lake County Public Works Budget for construction of additional office space at the Administrative Building, 650 Winchester Rd, Libertyville; and

WHEREAS, a professional services firm will be utilized to prepare the necessary design documents and provide contract administration services during construction; and

WHEREAS, in accordance with Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, a firm may be selected by the County based on prior satisfactory working relationship; and

WHEREAS, an Agreement has been negotiated with FGM Architects, Chicago, Illinois, to provide the necessary professional engineering design services (50 ILCS 510/1 et seq).

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract with FGM Architects, Inc., Chicago, Illinois, in the amount of $246,500, for design engineering serv...
