* The Health Department received $490,666 in additional grant funding for the period of May 1, 2025, through April 30, 2026, which was not previously appropriated because the grant resources were approved after the County's adoption of the Fiscal Year 2025 budget.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center has received a grant increase delivered by our Clinical Operations Unit; and
WHEREAS, these dollars will provide an increase in services to Lake County with no impact on local taxes; and
WHEREAS, the additional funding amount totaling $490,666 for the period of May 1, 2025, through April 30, 2026, has not been previously appropriated, having been approved after adoption of the Fiscal Year 2025 budget; and
WHEREAS, the proposed appropriation will be fully offset by the above referenced items thereby not requiring the expenditure of local tax revenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that an emergency appropriation in the amount of $490,666 is hereby authorized in the Health Department Fiscal Year 2025 budget as identified on the listing of expense and revenue budget modifications attached hereto and made part hereof; and
