Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center received a $75,000 grant from the Steans Family Foundation to support the Start Early Universal Newborn Support Services Community Feasibility Assessment Project. The funding will support personnel, consultant services, community and family engagement, data analysis, outreach and recruitment, training, supplies, and other activities included in the approved application to assess the feasibility of implementing a Universal Newborn Support System in Lake County.

To approve the Start Early Universal Newborn Support Services, Steans Family Foundation grant, and emergency appropriate $75,000 for FY27.
