Title

Resolution amending various sections of the Lake County Board Rules of Order and Operational Procedures.  

Body

WHEREAS, every two years the County Board goes through a reorganization process; and

WHEREAS, this reorganization process begins at the County Board's first meeting in the month following the month in which the County Board members are elected; and

WHEREAS, during this first meeting a Rules Committee, comprised of members of the County Board, is appointed; and

WHEREAS, the purpose of the Rules Committee is to review, update, as necessary, and recommend adoption of the Rules of Order and Operational Procedures of the Lake County Board; and

WHEREAS, the Rules Committee has reviewed and updated the Rules of Order and Operational Procedures of the Lake County Board and recommends approval.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Rules of Order and Operational Procedures of the Lake County Board are approved in the attached form.
